About

Scott K Good

I’ve always had a knack for explaining things to people in ways they understand, and boy, do I love to tell a story. After a successful career in higher education and HR, I married the love of my life, sold my house, and took a sabbatical. I used the time off to search for my next iteration, and I kept coming back to my love of bringing people together in meaningful ways and making them feel welcome.

Then one day, I sat down and outlined a novel called The Tartan Thesis. The next day I had written two chapters. Forty-two days later, I completed the first manuscript. Four days after that, I started my second book, tentatively titled The Holiday Pitch.

Every day, I sit down and create and hope that my characters and their stories draw readers in and make them feel like there’s a place for them, a place they enjoy, where they feel seen.

Thank you to all the creators who inspired me to give writing a try and to all who read my stories. -sg
